Senior Substance Use Disorder Data Systems Analyst

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Program Quality has a full time vacancy for Senior Substance Use Disorder Data Systems Analyst. This is a grant-funded position and is subject to renew every two years. Summary: Evaluates, develops, and implements business policies to support the present and future data and information needs of the Department for substance use disorder related information. Serves as the senior lead in the management and continuous improvement of substance use disorder related health care information necessary to support the Departments State Opioid Response (SOR) grant program. Accountabilities: Manages quality assurance and reporting of information from the states WITS drug treatment system relative to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) measurement and related data collection tools. Develops and implements approaches for assuring complete and accurate reporting by providers who submit required GPRA information directly to SAMHSA. Implements and monitors reporting of substance misuse/substance use disorder data to meet Department needs and requirements of the SOR grant including reporting of GRPA information to assure compliance and increase performance of business operations and support further policy development. Analyzes business processes and formulates and implements strategies and policies for state, grant, and Medicaid funded substance misuse/substance use disorder data and related data, content management, and analytics. Monitors and evaluates the sufficiency of data and reporting and directs the development of new data models, prototypes, reports and queries to adequately respond to requests for information, to include creating project/work plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables; providing status reports to project sponsors; and supporting business end users. Develops, formulates, and implements data management standards for quality, accuracy, system integrity and confidentiality for relevant data sets and coordinates data security objectives with other parts of the Department and with the Department of Information Technology. Coordinates the analysis of business processes with staff managing WITS, Medicaid, and other systems.
