The purpose of the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant program is to address the opioid overdose crisis by providing resources for increasing access to FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder, and for supporting the continuum of prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery support services for opioid use disorder and other concurrent substance use disorders. Job Responsibilities: Manage the day- to- day operation of the State Opioid Resource (SOR) grant using project management methodologies from inception to end of the grant. Develop project work plan; track and control budgetary needs and expenditures, scope and schedules to ensure project deliverables, milestones and required tasks are completed as outlined by the grant. Develop, manage and conduct meetings for the required committees of the grant. Review quality and performance of local programs. Manage issues between the referral source, the service provider and other involved state agencies. Monitor linkage and continuity of care between provider agencies and other partners. Work closely with the Technology, Research and Evaluation Division to ensure all local sites and vendors are trained on CSAT SPARS database and understand how to collect patient follow-up data (GPRA) and evaluation information and input into SPARS database. Coordinate and provide Evidence-Base Practice (EBP) trainings for Opioid use disorder, and other trainings needed to implement and sustain the SOR project initiatives to all local staff and vendors. Assist and serves as a treatment consultant on the coordinated county reviews (CCR). Work closely with Medicaid Liaison on guidelines related to the prevention, treatment and recovery of opioid use disorder programs. Attend the bi-monthly State Child Fatality Advisory Committee (SCFAC) as DAODAS lead designee. Provide a written report of findings after each meeting to the Treatment and Recovery Division Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in health, social science or public administration 3 years’ experience in health or human services field, preferably in substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders Thorough knowledge of the provision of Opioid Use Disorders (OUD) services Master’s degree in health, social science or public administration.
