The Planet Group is hiring a Sr. Workday HCM Analyst . This is a Direct Hire / Perm role with our client in the Boston, MA area(local only; Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite ).

Our client recently went live with Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. This role will be responsible for overall functional support within Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. You will also need strong reporting experience and be able to create, optimize, and modify dashboards, along with creating custom reports. You will be working closely with the business and stakeholders and will need to have strong communication and the ability to provide guidance and solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Configure Workday modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Absence Management.
• Provide primary functional and technical support of HR applications (primarily Workday), including security access, maintenance, administration, and report writing.
• Serve as the systems and process expert for implementations; lead projects around upgrades and configuration changes to align with business needs.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system enhancements, and support new initiatives.
• Identify and develop key business reporting and management dashboards for HR leadership.
• Provide technical training and support, trouble shooting, and guidance to HR team and other users.
• Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR, Benefits, Recruitment and Payroll systems.
• Maintain current knowledge of privacy laws such as HIPAA and GDPR and ensure data is protected.

Requirements :

• Sr. Workday HCM Analyst (4+ years’ experience)
• Strong HCM experience
• Workday Benefits experience
• Workday Time Tracking experience
• Workday Absence experience
• Configuration, BPs, & requirements gathering
• Able to lead projects around upgrades and configuration changes
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, root causes and implement solutions with internal teams
• Develop key business reporting and management dashboards
• Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, security, data integrity and system configuration and design
• Ability to provide training, support and guidance to users and team members
• Knowledge Transfer
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to lead knowledge transfer initiatives.
