Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures: Head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities Biopsy/drainage procedures Perform venipuncture for injections, operate power injector, administer IV contrast per physician orders Perform 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation CT scans for inpatients, outpatients, and ER Additional imaging duties: Basic radiographic procedures Fluoroscopy Portable radiographic procedures C-arm procedures and OR imaging Maintain knowledge of: Processing CT systems Surgical/sterile techniques Contrast and non-contrast studies Cross-sectional anatomy Equipment ER: GE 16-slice Brightspeed Main Department: GE 64-slice VCT GE 16-slice Optima 540 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in a similar setting Certifications: ARRT (CT) required State general radiographer license required BLS and CPR (AHA) required About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
