Lead Data Engineer - Enterprise Platforms Technology

As a Lead Data Engineer within our Enterprise Platforms Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights, empowering millions of customers to achieve their financial goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Agile teams to architect, develop, test, and implement cutting-edge technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
Work alongside seasoned developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.
Utilize advanced programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and leverage Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases along with cloud-based data warehousing services, including Redshift and Snowflake.
Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new tools, contribute to technology communities, and mentor fellow engineers.
Collaborate with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that deliver remarkable experiences for our customers.
Conduct thorough unit testing and peer code reviews, ensuring that your code is meticulously designed, well-structured, and optimized for high performance.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development (internship experience does not count).
At least 1 year of experience working with big data technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of application development experience, including proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, or Scala.
2+ years of experience with AWS.
3+ years of experience using distributed data/computing tools like Apache Flink, Spark, MapReduce, Hadoop, EMR, or Kafka.
2+ years of hands-on experience with real-time data and streaming applications.
2+ years of NoSQL implementation experience (MongoDB, Cassandra).
2+ years of experience in data warehousing solutions (Redshift or Snowflake).
3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux systems, including basic commands and shell scripting.
2+ years working with Agile engineering practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $158,600 - $181,000, depending on location, and this role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses or long-term incentives.
