Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for the Air Team¿s development & execution of NCLH¿s airline industry strategy, contracts, procurement, partnership development, GDS agreements & management, aviation payment strategies & various strategic projects ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget. The role will collaborate by partnering closely with NCLH leadership, revenue management, destination services, and marketing to optimize air costs and drive innovation while ensuring our guests travel is seamless. This role requires a deep understanding of airline revenue management, pricing, operations, finance, analytics, and process flow maps. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Shape the future direction of the ACE team and drive growth and innovation through strategic initiatives Develop, collaborate, & maintain close relationships with airline partners, other key travel partners, and key internal stakeholders. Lead the development of business cases and financial models to evaluate feasibility and potential impact of initiatives. Lead the study of strategy implementation and results to drive innovation and future enhancements. Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, adjusting as needed to ensure success. Analyze project and business data to identify opportunities for process optimization, revenue generation, cost reduction, and performance improvement. Communicate these findings and other best practices to leadership and stakeholders. Manage ACE Data Integrity team to make sure air transactions are accurate and reconcile. Work closely with the air operations team and develop new and innovative solutions to improve performance and increase efficiency. Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects and develop actions plans to meet goals. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver business objectives. Responsible for developing analytics and reporting tools; take an active role in integrating new technologies and tools into the department's processes. Remain current with industry news and trends. Perform other job-related functions as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE:
Bachelor's Degree FIELD(S) OF STUDY:
Airline Management, Finance, or Operations; or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and training. EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years airline industry experience required working for a major airline in Revenue Management, Pricing, Network, Distribution Planning, Finance, or Alliances. 10+ years in overall travel industry experience as a plus. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS: Strength in critical thinking, problem solving, and written and verbal communication. Ability to effectively interact with and influence key stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines while consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work. Collaborate and build effective relationships with internal and external partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong decision-making skills considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets. Working knowledge of GDS or airline PSS systems including knowledge of NDC. Strong working knowledge of air/travel/cruise/hospitality industry. Gravitas and good partnership development skills and demonstrated experience. Familiarity with technology (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python). Business-level proficiency in Spanish a plus. Seniority level
