Summary:
Our client company is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Marketing Representative to support its business growth and retention. This role works closely with internal teams (Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering, Accounting, and Senior Management) to understand client needs, provide high-quality service, and help achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers for both renewal and new business. Identify client service needs and coordinate with internal teams to deliver effective solutions. Develop marketing goals and plans to acquire new accounts, retain existing ones, and ensure profitability. Research and analyze market trends; provide insights and feedback to Underwriting and Management. Recommend pricing strategies based on market conditions. Monitor marketing performance in assigned territory and take corrective actions when needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Economics preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer service, with proven experience in the property & casualty insurance industry (mandatory). Expert-level Japanese and business-level English (spoken and written). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. CPCU or other insurance-related certifications preferred. Ability to travel (same day and overnight). Competencies:
