Myticas' direct client is seeking a Senior Java AWS Developer/Engineer, onsite/hybrid in Chicago, IL.
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder; no visa sponsorship considered.
This position requires a 2-step background check (ANACI), which may take 6-8 weeks.

1 year Top competencies: Java with Spring framework SQL skills AWS services Terraform Infrastructure as Code Responsibilities: Migration of complex, monolithic Java Spring applications to AWS with minimal downtime. Design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as ECS, RDS, S3. Optimize existing SQL-heavy data operations in AWS-managed databases. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Collaborate with teams to refactor legacy components, ensure security, scalability, and operational excellence.
