Construction Litigation Attorney
to join its Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level attorney with experience-or a strong interest-in construction defect litigation and the construction industry. The firm offers a collaborative environment, hands-on mentorship, and the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters from day one.
Position Overview
We are looking for an attorney with at least
1 year of experience
in construction defect litigation or a demonstrated connection to or interest in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow their litigation skills, manage case files, and contribute to a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional results for clients in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing construction litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Conduct legal research and case analysis Participate in client communications and case strategy discussions Support senior attorneys in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records Stay informed on developments in construction law and related regulations
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar Experience or strong interest in construction defect litigation or the construction industry Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills Familiarity with construction contracts, defect claims, or industry standards
