Prepare and operate various CNC and manual machining tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders. Understand, visualize, and apply blueprints and technical plans to guide your processes. Implement robust checks to guarantee finished products meet our high-quality standards. Perform equipment troubleshooting to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Collaborate effectively with others to innovate and optimize machining processes. Support in cultivating an educational environment by training less experienced machinists. Commit to a safe and systematic workspace, following all safety guidelines. Your Skills and Experience
Completion of high school, with post-secondary education in machining being advantageous. Five or more years of relevant experience in machining environments and mastery of CNC programming. Proficient with precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach. Adaptive to both team-centered and independent working conditions. Strong communication skills paired with an eager-to-learn mentality. Access to our facility (and, therefore, employment) is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents of the United States and properly-licensed foreign persons. Your Competencies Include: Understanding and implementing GD&T principles Effective troubleshooting techniques Programming with CNC software tools G-Code and M-Code expertise Experience with machine setup for production Advanced manual machining methods Technologies You Will Engage With: CNC Milling Machines (3-4 axis VMC) from leaders like Haas and Okuma CNC Lathes (2-4 axis) including those by DMG Mori Seiki Mitsubishi Grinding Machines CAD Tools such as Solidworks CAM Software with Mastercam Cylindrical Grinding Machines
