A law firm seeks an Employment and Labor Attorney to join their team in Newark, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of management-side employment work, including litigation, counseling, and investigations.
Duties
Assist in defending employment claims such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Provide support in wage and hour disputes and restrictive covenant enforcement. Engage in trade secret prosecution and defense in state and federal courts. Offer human resource support and employment counseling. Participate in traditional labor law and ERISA matters. Requirements
3-5 years of experience in employment law defense. Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Strong legal research, drafting, and writing skills. Excellent analytical and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as a self-starter. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Bar admission in New York and New Jersey. Skills
Proficient in legal research and writing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Benefits
