Project Accounting Manager

A new position has been created to support the Project Accounting Group Manager with accounting review, direction, and oversight of workload and staff. The role will lead inventory optimization and process improvement efforts supporting the Oil & Gas and Power Generation organizations. The responsibilities are varied and of medium to high complexity, including: Interacting with and presenting data to multiple functional areas and management levels in Finance, Business Management, and Power Systems Operations Reviewing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries Supporting PwC and COE audits of revenue and inventory controls Supervising one new accountant and/or agency contractor Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree with at least 18 college units in Accounting 3-5 years of accounting experience Preferred Qualifications: High initiative, leadership, good judgment, and effective communication skills Broad understanding of accounting processes and knowledge of Solar’s business, products, suppliers, and customers Ability to resolve issues independently and take responsibility Strong analytical, process improvement, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Experience with financial/business analysis and Solar systems (Hyperion/Essbase/Smartview, Windchill, Baan 5c, ERP LN, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.) Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and/or CPA, CMA, or similar license Summary Pay Range: $108,834.00 - $163,252.00 This position requires onsite work five days a week.
