Full-time About the Role: We're seeking a
Civil Engineer Associate (EIT)
with 2 –5 years of experience
in
urban stormwater management
to join a collaborative, growth-focused team in
Northwest Austin . In this role, you'll contribute to impactful infrastructure projects—many of which are for the
City of Austin —focused on
flood control, drainage systems, and water quality improvements . This is a great opportunity to expand your technical skill set while working alongside a supportive team of experienced engineers on projects that directly benefit your community. What You'll Do: Support stormwater infrastructure projects for
City of Austin initiatives
and other public clients
Assist in the design and analysis of drainage systems, detention basins, water quality features, and flood control measures
Use
HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS , and other modeling tools for hydraulic and hydrologic analysis
Create construction documents and exhibits using
Civil 3D ,
MicroStation , and
ArcMap
Perform site visits, analyze topographic data, and assist in report preparation
Collaborate with engineers and project managers across multiple disciplines
Grow in technical knowledge, project exposure, and public sector experience
What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
(required)
EIT certification
(required)
2–5 years
of civil engineering experience with a focus on
stormwater, drainage, or water quality
Working knowledge of
HEC modeling systems
(HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.)
Experience with
Civil 3D ,
MicroStation , and/or
ArcMap
(preferred)
A collaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to grow
