This engineer will sit in Wilmington, NC. DAY-TO-DAY: This role focuses on technical capabilities in water infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
• Lead the design, permitting, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, creating presentations and construction documents.
• Apply knowledge of treatment process modeling and hydraulics, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Oversee project teams, including engineers and consultants, and coordinate with clients and other disciplines to ensure project quality, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare specifications, review shop drawings, provide construction administration support, and report on project performance to management.
• Travel periodically for business development and project management tasks. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • 4-8 years in designing and permitting wastewater treatment plants.
• A B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering and an NC PE license (or ability to obtain one quickly). • Strong design, value engineering, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and a good communicator with strong organizational skills. • Driven to deliver quality work on schedule and within budget, with the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish. WHAT WE OFFER:
