This position involves providing direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients (high, moderate, and low risk) in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team within the labor and delivery unit. Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality patient care across various stages of pregnancy and childbirth while ensuring patient and family-centered approaches. - Demonstrate strong communication skills, prioritize tasks effectively, and adeptly solve problems in a fast-paced environment.- Participate in ongoing training and orientation to various competencies and modes of care across the OB service.- Be adaptable to float among units to meet the variable needs of patient volume and acuity.- Maintain a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration within the healthcare team. Qualifications: - Current RN License in New York is required.- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery is required; experience in operating room and triage is highly desirable.- Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association. - Neonatal Resuscitation certification is required.
