Job Description: We are seeking motivated and ambitious Registered Nurses to join our fast-paced and challenging Burn Trauma Step Down Unit. As a Level I Trauma Unit, our patient population consists of critically ill trauma patients, including those with head trauma, burn injuries, and surgical conditions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with trauma and burn injuries.- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.- Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.- Stay current with knowledge and practices related to critical care nursing. Qualifications: - Current NY RN License required.- Minimum of two years of experience in a trauma ICU or acute care setting; experience with burn care is highly desirable.- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory. Behavioral Characteristics: - Strong critical thinking skills.- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide the best patient outcomes.
