Our facility has received recognition for providing high clinical quality year over year. The Emergency Department serves as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. We provide care to a diverse population, including patients who speak over 120 languages. The department is known for teamwork and welcoming personalities. Registered Nurses will work with a ratio of 4:1, typically 7:1 for behavioral holds. Technicians and unit clerks are available during both day and night shifts. The equipment used includes pumps and monitors, and documentation is managed through a specific system. Every other weekend is required for scheduling, but there is no commitment to block scheduling. Nurses must be open to floating to all sections within the Emergency Department. We prioritize patient experience, encouraging respectful behavior and keeping patients informed throughout their visit.
