ICU Registered Nurse Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2140-$2290 Location: Fargo, ND 58104 (North Dakota healthcare jobs) Setting: ICU Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Tele/ICU Stepdown) Shift: 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend and holiday Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Duration: 19 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 - End: 02/09/2026) Bed Size: 18 beds Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 Dress Code: Navy scrubs Orientation: 32 hours comprehensive orientation program ICU RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a progressive care, step-down, or ICU unit at a large hospital (200+ beds), preferably Level 1 trauma center Active RN license (North Dakota or compact state) BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required NIHSS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Proficient in ventilator management, Bipap, and titrating vasopressor drips Experience with EPIC EMR and Omnicell systems Ability to care for intermediate ICU patients independently Strong clinical skills in trauma, cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patient care ICU Nurse Responsibilities Manage 3 intermediate ICU patients, including cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, and post-surgical cases Administer and titrate vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropic, antiarrhythmic, and other IV drips Utilize advanced healthcare equipment: EPIC EMR, Omnicell, Aleris IV pumps, MOOG feeding pumps, Phillips and AvaSure monitoring systems, Hamilton ventilators, and BiPAP Float to critical care departments and med-surg units as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Participate in unit-specific training and comprehensive orientation Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Join our healthcare team today and make a difference as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse in Fargo, North Dakota!
