12-hour night shifts; every other weekend and holiday required Guaranteed Hours:

18-bed ICU Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:

Navy scrubs Comprehensive Orientation:
32 hours (hospital, unit, and ICU-specific training) ICU RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact state - required for travel nurse jobs Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a progressive care, step-down, or intermediate ICU unit at a large hospital (200+ beds), preferably Level 1 trauma center Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) NIHSS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date) Experience with ventilators, BiPAPs, and titrating vasopressor drips Proficiency with EPIC EMR Ability to independently care for intermediate ICU patients Experience working in large hospital or Level 1 trauma center environments Must not reside within a 60-mile radius of Fargo, ND facility ICU Nurse Responsibilities
Manage care for 3 intermediate ICU patients with diverse conditions: cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, and post-surgical cases Administer and titrate vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropic, antiarrhythmic, and other IV drips Operate and monitor equipment including EPIC EMR, Omnicell, Aleris IV pumps, MOOG feeding pumps, Phillips patient monitoring, AvaSure monitoring, Hamilton ventilators, and Hamilton V60 BiPAP Float to all critical care and med-surg units as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Participate in unit-specific training, continuing education, and orientation
