Job DescriptionJob Title: CNC ProgrammerLocation: Romulus, MISalary: $26-$36 per hour, based on experienceIndustry: Manufacturing / Precision Machining / CNC ProgrammingReports To: Shop Supervisor / Engineering ManagerOverview:A growing precision machining and automation shop in Romulus, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. This position focuses on programming and running Haas CNC mills using Mastercam. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills and a desire to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Program CNC milling machines using Mastercam for both vertical and horizontal Haas millsSet up and operate Haas CNC machines to manufacture precision partsInterpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and other technical documentation to guide programming and setupInspect finished parts using precision measurement tools and make necessary adjustments to meet tight tolerancesCollaborate with engineers, machinists, and team leads to continuously improve machining processesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety protocolsProvide support with CNC lathe work as neededWhat Sets This Role Apart:Work in a high-tech, fast-paced automation and machining facilityFull-time first-shift schedule with long-term growth opportunitiesDirect involvement in prototyping, job shop work, and low-volume high-precision partsQualifications:Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience in a job shop or manufacturing settingProficiency in Mastercam for milling applicationsHands-on experience with Haas vertical and horizontal milling machinesStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentationSkilled in precision measurement and machining principles (speeds, feeds, tooling)CNC lathe experience is a plus but not required
