Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law and defense law, with a focus on providing comprehensive legal representation to clients in claims management.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and hearings. Advise clients on their rights and obligations under workers' compensation law. Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients. Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring timely updates to clients. Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the relevant state. Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law or related fields. Strong understanding of defense law and claims management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
