LHH is supporting our client hiring a Tax Manager. This role is the only tax headcount in the company and will manage outsourced vendors while evaluating the overall tax function. This is a fast growing company with so much growth opportunity. So many options and paths will be available This job: Manage outsource vendors doing the tax compliance and provision Compliance focus to start – direct and indirect tax Review contracts for property and sales tax implications, documentation of exposure Tax Enterprise Model at our level and our partners (partnering with FP&A, modelling tax scenarios) Partner with Legal on Tax Policy Stay up on Federal, State, and Local (multiple) changes Tax Credit pre-filing regulations, Tax Basis tracking, Book to tax difference, Projections, Estimates We are looking for: CPA required, BS in Accounting or related field 5+ years in Tax; Breadth of experience in direct and indirect tax 3+ years of Top 10 public accounting firm experience Renewable Energy Industry experience is required Tax Compliance management and Provision ownership Cultural Notes: Team does a lot of events together and has so much fun. Looking for someone who wants to have fun together Work Hard Play Hard, but that doesn’t mean crazy hours.
