Communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
Read and write notes in English in the manager’s daily log
Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
Read weekly memos
Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
Communicate with all managers on duty at shift end
Provide honest reports of all events, positive and negative
Follow policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings
Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
Hold current food management certification
Demonstrate ownership mentality
Be flexible with scheduling, as Flanigan’s operates 365 days a year
Willing to transfer geographically if needed
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule vacations between April and November; they must be taken or forfeited
Order supplies and formulate pars
Have basic math skills, including currency handling and calculator use
Basic computer skills
Understand and enforce health code standards
Conduct timely interviews following Flanigan’s hiring policy
Write performance evaluations
Ability to see, speak clearly, listen, taste, and smell
Read and write English proficiently
Stand and move about for up to 4 hours, working 50-55 hours per week
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Bend, stoop, squat, or crawl as needed
Operate kitchen equipment with coordination
Adhere to dress and grooming policies
Work a five-day week with two consecutive days off
Paid vacation: one week after 1 year, two weeks after 2 years, three weeks after 10 years
Health insurance options available
401K plan with immediate eligibility; must be 21 or over to enroll
Advancement based on performance, not tenure
Personal days and free shift meals
