Communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day
Read and write notes in English in the manager’s daily log
Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
Read the weekly memo
Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
Communicate with all m.o.d. when shift ends
Provide honest reports of all events, positive and negative
Follow policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings
Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
Hold current food management certification
Demonstrate ownership mentality
Be flexible with scheduling; Flanigan’s is open 365 days
Be willing to transfer geographically
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule vacations between April and November; must be taken or forfeited
Order supplies and formulate pars
Have basic math skills: counting currency, making change, using a calculator
Possess basic computer skills
Understand and enforce health code standards
Conduct timely interviews following Flanigan’s hiring policy
Issue written evaluations for performance
Have good sight, speech, hearing, taste, and smell
Read and write English
Stand and move at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours; work 50-55 hours/week
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Bend, stoop, squat, crawl as needed
Operate kitchen equipment with coordination
Adhere to dress and grooming standards
Work a 5-day week with 2 consecutive days off
Enjoy benefits: paid vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 10 years; health insurance; 401K; personal days; free shift meals
