Shipping Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Associate to manage our incoming and outgoing merchandise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient operation of our shipping systems. Responsibilities
Prepare and process shipments for delivery. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing merchandise. Ensure the efficient operation of shipping systems. Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including packaging and material handling. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload shipments. Utilize MRP systems and shipping software such as FedEx and UPS Ship Manager. Handle hazardous materials according to safety protocols. Essential Skills
Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations. Experience with packaging and material handling. Familiarity with pallet jacks and forklifts. Experience with FedEx and UPS Ship Manager. Proficiency in MRP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail. Ability to operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Excellent communication skills. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
