Job Title: Test Analyst
Systems Implementers, Inc. (SI) is a contracted implementation consulting firm performing work at Hill AFB in Utah. The Test Analyst is responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities to validate changes to mission-critical databases and associated systems. This role ensures that new requirements, software upgrades, and configuration changes are implemented accurately, function as intended, and maintain operational readiness for all affected users across the installation. The position requires close collaboration with developers, system administrators, functional users, and Air Force stakeholders to maintain system integrity, security, and performance. Key Job Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for database changes, software upgrades, and system enhancements. Validate that system modifications meet documented requirements and comply with Air Force standards, security protocols, and operational needs. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system stability and reliability. Document test results, track defects, and coordinate with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with system owners, administrators, and end users to gather requirements, clarify functionality, and ensure smooth deployment of changes. Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity and information assurance policies during testing activities. Provide technical input for risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for identified issues. Participate in post-implementation reviews to confirm successful deployment and operational performance. Required Skills and Education: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in software or database testing, preferably in a DoD or government environment Familiarity with structured testing methodologies, defect tracking tools, and test management systems Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and data validation techniques Ability to interpret technical documentation, system requirements, and functional specifications Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills U.S. Citizen
