Job Overview:
The
Social Media Coordinator
is responsible for assisting with the ongoing management and growth of Fragrance.com's presence across all social media platforms. This role involves developing high-quality content, fostering community engagement, and utilizing data-driven insights to enhance performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in content creation, social media management, and brand partnership coordination within the beauty industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, create, and schedule daily content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). Coordinate with Social Media Manager on influencer + UGC partnerships, such as outreach, negotiation, and campaign execution. Work closely with the marketing calendar to plan content around key campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments. Collaborate with Social Media Manager on lo-fi content, shoots, and larger campaign storytelling. Write captions and develop copy that feels fresh, engaging, and on-brand. Stay up to date on social media trends and find creative ways to integrate them into our strategy. Work with Customer Service team to support day-to-day community management and engagement. Help manage the social content calendar and keep schedules organized. Track performance metrics and flag wins, learnings, and growth opportunities. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 1-2 years experience in social media, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries. Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.). Strong content creation skills for content specific to platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Proficiency in photo/video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.). A deep understanding of social media trends, analytics, and best practices. Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of brand voice. Creative thinking and content development abilities. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
