The Cetera RIA Blueprint platform empowers independent RIAs with integrated technology, custody/clearing, trading, and client management solutions to help them grow and serve their clients more effectively. The Director, Strategy and Operations RIA Blueprint will play a key leadership role in supporting the strategic direction and operational execution of the Cetera RIA Blueprint platform. You will be responsible for planning and executing strategic processes and initiatives, serving as deputy business leader for business improvement and transformation projects, working closely with matrixed partners & leaders.
Reporting to the Head of RIA Blueprint, this role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive platform enhancements, improve the advisor experience, and ensure operational excellence. The successful Director of RIA Blueprint Strategy & Operations brings a strong analytical mindset, project management skills, and a passion for delivering value in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities: •Oversees the development and execution of strategic initiatives that enhance platform capabilities and advisor satisfaction. oDevelop in depth understanding of the solution stack for RIA Blueprint, specifically custodial services, product shelf compliance requirements, and wealth management tools. oBuild a strategy to be competitive in the RIA space with the proposed product solutions and work collaboratively cross functionally to deliver determined solutions. •Manage and track key projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. •Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. •Collaborate with product, technology, and service teams to streamline processes and support platform enhancements. •Prepare executive-level reports and presentations to communicate progress, insights, and recommendations. •Lead operational improvements to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience. •Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team. •Align the team’s strategy, processes, and expectations to meet the needs of the business and advisors.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: •Minimum 10 years of experience working with fee-based platforms in the RIA marketplace. •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. •Deep understanding of the RIA market, custody and clearing, product management, and customer journey optimization. •Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with a track record of driving successful operational improvements. •Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities. •Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment platforms, and regulatory requirements. •Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for large-scale audiences. •Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent. •Adaptable and comfortable with managing change and evolving priorities. Compensation Range: The base annual salary range for this role is $151,000 to $201,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations. #LI-Hybrid
