KPMG US . KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Responsibilities:
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other mergers and acquisitions activities. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team focusing on due diligence, tax structuring, and communicating findings to clients. Partner with and assist other senior members on technical tax issues involving consolidated returns, S Corps, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs. Assist clients with issues like bankruptcy planning, debt restructuring, tax basis, and section 382 studies. Develop, motivate, and train staff and manager-level team members. Uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment with integrity and professionalism. Qualifications:
At least eight years of recent experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisitions in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent, with a one-year window to obtain one if not already held. Knowledge of corporate tax matters across various industries. Ability to manage multiple engagements and teams. Excellent research and writing skills.
