$18/hr. to $26.00/hr. on W2 without benefits
Note: Aircraft type welding experience. TIG welding -- Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Inconel, Titanium. Ability to fuse thin metal. Sheetmetal type background. Weld test required'.
Job Description:
Performs a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances per engineering specifications. Makes adjustments, within procedural limits, to fine-tune the process in order to achieve product conformance. Obtains and maintains all required qualifications and certifications in stainless steels and Inconel. Gains ability to perform basic set-up.
Role & Responsibilities:
High School diploma or equivalent. One to three years of verifiable welding experience including, TIG welding for stainless, Inconel, and titanium. Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) experience with aerospace or precision fabrications desired.
Pre-screened questions:
1. How many years of TIG (GMAW) welding experience do you have, specifically in aerospace or high-precision environments? flux, stick or MIG is not sufficient. 2. What types of materials have you welded (e.g., aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Inconel)? 3. Are you comfortable with a horizontal welding position? 4. Are you familiar working with parts in a vertical position and welded on a turn table?
