Position Summary Administrative Assistant

Office of Educator Preparation

College of Education, Health, & Human Studies

Full-Time Primary Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean for Educator Preparation and all educator preparation committees Prepares correspondence, including letters, memos, emails, and reports Transcribes meeting minutes for educator preparation committees in a timely fashion Organizes and maintains electronic and paper files for the Office of Educator Preparation Manages communications with content area liaisons, national accrediting bodies, state agencies, student organizations, and the students and faculty at large through a weekly newsletter Collaborate with the Associate Dean to hire an office graduate assistant Trains and supervises the graduate assistant in coordination with the Associate Dean Monitors and reconciles all unit budgets in collaboration with office personnel Maintains all Foundation accounts for Educator Preparation, including scholarships and donor accounts, in collaboration with the Dean and Associate Dean Maintains up-to-date knowledge of university budgetary rules and regulations Attends appropriate training sessions Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Proficient knowledge of Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Products (Documents, Sheets, and Forms) Demonstrated complete administrative skills, including excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Verified successful experience in monitoring budgets Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions Evidence of strong organizational skills and attention to detail Evidence of ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment Demonstrate experience and understanding of customer service Required Information & Deadline Application Deadline:
