Our team is looking for a Quality Inspector to join them. You will report to the Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Creedmoor, NC.

To be considered for the Quality Inspector, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field

Or HS Diploma and 3-5 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within the aerospace sector, with a deep understanding of FAA requirements, particularly 8130.21H

Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), including AS9100, and inspection methodologies

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to perform precise evaluations and measurements

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards under pressure

Certification as a Quality Inspector (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent) is preferred

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

Conduct comprehensive inspections of aerospace products and components to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, particularly 8130.21H

Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality assurance documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards

Develop and implement inspection processes and checklists in alignment with the 8130.21H certification requirements

Perform in-process inspections, final inspections, and acceptance testing of aerospace products to verify conformity with specifications and safety standards

Document inspection results, including non-conformances, and communicate findings to engineering and production teams for corrective action

Assist in the preparation and submission of FAA Form 8130-3, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete

Participate in internal and external audits related to FAA regulations and 8130.21H compliance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Stay updated on changes to FAA regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and effective quality management

Compensation Pay Range

$28-$35/hr based on experience
