Program Coordinator, 4-H Learn Everywhere

The 4-H Youth Development Program Coordinator will have a variety of administrative responsibilities to help the University of Idaho 4-H plan and implement the Learn Everywhere 4-H program. Responsibilities include supporting the Program Specialist, providing guidance and direction on converting 4-H curriculum into online learning and working within the Northern and Southern Extension regions to provide technical and programmatic support to 4-H professionals on the Learn Everywhere 4-H program. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs and may serve as first point of contact for the unit. Duties may include: Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions Facilitating communication between program participants and managerial staff Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records Maintaining program calendars and schedules May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator Other duties as assigned Required Experience: Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Other: Ability to work occasional nights and weekends when required Ability to travel occasionally when required Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles Additional Preferred: Education and/or experience in K-12 education, instructional design, or a similar field Associates or Bachelors degree Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research Ability to operate standard office equipment Providing customer service Using centralized computer systems (such as financial) while completing administrative tasks Managing calendars and/or scheduling Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services Independently solving problems and performing liaison activities in a work setting and coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship building skills Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to reach and bend Ability to lift, carry and/or otherwise move items weighing up to 40 pounds Degree Requirement: Listed degree qualification is required at time of application FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employee Category: Classified Pay Range: $20.35 an hour or higher depending on experience Type of Appointment: Full Time FTE: 0.875 Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Funding: This position is contingent upon the continuation of work and/or funding.
