Program Coordinator

The Testing Center Program Coordinator directs the implementation and administration of exams given through the University of Idaho's Testing Center. Responsible for administrative functions within the Testing Center. Informs students, proctors, Testing Center personnel and other stakeholders regarding software, hardware and testing procedures, coordinates the test scheduling process and test materials, provides and assists with training and dissemination of information to Testing Center personnel, acts as a liaison with IT and coordinates efforts to improve and refine usage of the Testing Center. Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit. Duties may include: - Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions - Facilitating communication between program participants and managerial staff - Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets - Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records - Maintaining program calendars and schedules - May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator - Other duties as assigned Required Experience

- Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions Required Education

- High school diploma or equivalent Required Other

- Duties of this position require the employee to be at least 18 years of age Additional Preferred

- Bachelor's degree - Experience working with confidential information - Experience working in a post-secondary setting - Experience and knowledgeable with national standard testing programs, including computer-based testing, accommodated testing or placement testing - Experience prioritizing multiple communications via phone, email, online chat, and in-person - Applying basic technical skills including changing computer settings, installing software, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting - Experience organizing and planning, including coordinating and maintaining multiple schedules - Experience providing customer service; using a computer to enter, retrieve, organize and process information - Experience working independently with limited supervision Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
