Position Overview:

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prominent civil litigation defense firm to find an experienced Legal Assistant for their bustling Alpharetta, GA office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is seeking to support a high-volume team specializing in trucking defense. Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in a civil litigation defense practice. Draft, format, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence. Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Manage court deadlines, attorney calendars, and scheduling of meetings, depositions, and hearings. Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively. Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders. Handle a high volume of case management with strong attention to detail and prioritization. Qualifications: 3+ years of legal assistant experience in civil litigation defense; trucking litigation experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and support multiple attorneys/paralegals. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Ability to commute daily to Alpharetta and work until at least 5:30 PM. Required Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 1st shift, must work until at least 5:30 PM (later start time available). Benefits:

Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 annually based on experience. Additional benefits are offered by the firm, providing a supportive and comprehensive package.
