$1570 - $1680 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - North Carolina or compact state Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Strong clinical skills in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, including cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, PCA pumps, and medication gtt management (cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF) Ortho nursing experience required for Ortho Surgical unit (7N/S) Flexibility to float to all units within the facility and region as needed Epic EMR experience preferred Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage complex medication drips, and deliver specialized care for post-surgical, cardiac, renal, and behavioral health patients Float between units and facilities within the Charlotte, NC region as required, adapting quickly to new environments and patient needs Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR Participate in orientation and ongoing training to ensure compliance with facility standards and best practices
