Locum Tenens / Travel Nurse Contract Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 - End: 12/06/2025) Nursing Shift:
12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:00), 36 hours/week Guaranteed Hours:
36 per week Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend Holiday Coverage:
Work 75% of holidays during contract Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1570-$1680 per week Free Parking Med/Surg RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone) IV start skills, wound care, blood product administration Ability to care for patients with tubes and drains EPIC EMR experience preferred Willingness to float within region and scope of practice Strong teamwork and accountability skills Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with chronic diseases (CHF, COPD, diabetes), wounds, and geriatric needs Support mental health and addiction services, including extended IV antibiotic therapy Interpret cardiac rhythms and administer non-titrating cardiac drips Perform wound care, dressing changes, and IV starts Collaborate with nurse managers, clinical supervisors, CNAs, and rapid response RNs Float to other healthcare facilities within the region as needed Document patient care using EPIC EMR and department-specific equipment Participate in orientation and ongoing departmental training
