44-bed Medical/Surgical & Telemetry Unit Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 - End: 12/20/2025) Shift:
12-hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) Hours per Week:
36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay:
$1570-$1680 Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend Holiday Coverage:
75% of holidays during contract Floating:
Required within region and scope of RN practice Scrub Color:

Free, behind hospital Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience Strong cardiac nursing skills and telemetry interpretation Proficient in IV starts, drain/tube management, wound care, NGT placement, central line management Experience managing non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin) and blood products Epic EMR experience preferred Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care to cardiac-focused Med/Surg/Telemetry patients (chest pain, MI, arrhythmia, stroke risk, medical overflow) Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios (1:4-5) Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and ancillary healthcare teams Float to other healthcare facilities within the region as needed Participate in orientation and ongoing training Document all care and interventions using Epic EMR Foster a patient-centered, collegial, and supportive unit culture
