Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and P&W's product development teams (IPT's). The candidate should be customer focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrates the ability to deliver results. New Product Introduction has responsibility to all aspects of supply chain management; sourcing strategy, negotiation, order placement, and delivery assurance. NPI supports efforts using cutting edge technologies and designs in support of military and commercial next generation engine platforms. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to leverage working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Regional Offices, Programs and multiple suppliers. Creating the sourcing strategy and coordinating source selection alignment Proactively tracks and manages supplier work in process (WIP), identifies risks to planned delivery, and maintains promise dating Maintain purchase orders including but not limited to supplier exceptions, technical definition changes, pricing and delivery. Uses the minimum requirements standard work as a competitive advantage Evaluating Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL & MRL) for efforts Coordinate resolution of quality issues, QN's, and RCCA for supplier quality escapes Identify and manage supplier risks to program industrial plans Ability to travel as needed 10-15% Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field and 8 years of experience in a supply chain, manufacturing, or related field; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. This role is: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
