Nonprofit Fundraising Coordinator (Part-Time) for a mission-driven, faith-based nonprofit organization. This is a remote opportunity
with a strong preference for candidates located in the
Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area (DMV) to support occasional in-person donor engagement.
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a strategic and mission-driven
Fundraising Coordinator
to grow and lead the fundraising efforts of a dynamic nonprofit dedicated to advancing engagement in faith, family, and leadership. This part-time role offers the opportunity to build donor engagement infrastructure from the ground up. The ideal candidate is energized by meaningful relationship-building and will thrive in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement donor engagement and fundraising strategies Draft compelling donor communications, including outreach and fundraising letters Plan and support light donor events and appreciation efforts Collaborate with the Executive Director and board members to establish long-term development infrastructure Track and report on donor engagement progress and outcomes Represent the organization's mission and values in external interactions QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, or development Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including donor correspondence Self-starter who thrives in a remote, independent work environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build authentic donor relationships Cultural alignment with a faith-based, mission-driven organization
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of
$35/hour
with an estimated
20-hour workweek . Flexible scheduling and remote work provide a strong work-life balance, with opportunities for personal and professional impact.
