Director

for a respected national nonprofit organization committed to improving community well-being through education, outreach, and advocacy. This is a

fully remote

position based in

Los Angeles .

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Executive Director will serve as a key regional leader, advancing mission-driven programs and community engagement across Greater Los Angeles and the Central Coast. This role oversees fundraising, volunteer management, strategic partnerships, and public outreach efforts. The position is ideal for a collaborative, results-oriented leader who thrives in a mission-focused environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the execution of local strategic goals in partnership with the Board and volunteers, including budgeting and program planning

Cultivate relationships with donors and stakeholders while managing non-event fundraising strategies

Supervise and support a remote team to deliver effective programs and outreach initiatives

Oversee communications, including social media, web content, and community engagement materials

Drive public policy advocacy in collaboration with volunteers and partner organizations

Recruit, train, and retain a strong volunteer base to support local initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or program management

Strong communication skills, including public speaking and stakeholder engagement

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Passion for mission-driven work and community engagement

Comfortable with general office technology and virtual collaboration tools

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $90 - $115k annually. Employees enjoy a robust benefits package that includes 22 days of paid time off in the first year, 11 paid holidays, and flexible summer scheduling. The organization provides a Company-Sponsored Medical Employee Reimbursement Plan (MERP) and contributes 10% toward retirement after two years of employment. As a fully remote position, this role also offers a flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
