Position Summary:
The Foundation for Catholic Education is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator to oversee and expand our TuitionCare program, a community-based initiative that connects local taxpayers and Catholic school families to support tuition assistance through the EITC program as well as partner with our Vice President of Development to raise funds. This role blends program management, donor stewardship, communications, and grassroots engagement to ensure initiatives grows as a vital support system for Catholic elementary schools across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000.00 (depending on level of prior experience) + Paid Time Off and Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination
Manage day-to-day operations of the TuitionCare program across all participating schools. Serve as the main point of contact for school liaisons, ensuring clear communication and alignment with program goals. Track participation, financial contributions, and impact metrics across each school. Provide onboarding and training for new schools and support ongoing engagement for current participants. Donor Engagement & Communication
Coordinate donor enrollment and renewal processes, including communications, forms, and follow-up. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Director to create program materials, donor spotlights, newsletters, and social media content that celebrate TuitionCare’s impact. Assist in planning and executing donor appreciation efforts, school-based events, and recognition opportunities. Development & Reporting
Maintain accurate donor and program data in coordination with the database administrator. Support segmentation and reporting for the development team and partner schools. Collaborate with the VP of Development to identify opportunities to expand donor participation and strengthen donor retention. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, program coordination, or development. 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising preferred. Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with Blackbaud or other donor databases a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable engaging with school leaders, donors, and volunteers; occasional local travel required. Strong alignment with the mission of Catholic education and a passion for community-centered impact. Location & Schedule:
Based at the Foundation's headquarters in West Chester, PA with flexibility for event support. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during program events.
