Position Overview The Administrative Support III requires extensive administrative experience, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently under pressure. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, supporting meetings, maintaining schedules, and providing customer service. Flexibility and confidentiality are essential, along with the ability to mentor junior staff. Schedule and Location Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, located in Washington, DC. Responsibilities Serve as senior administrative support, providing excellent customer service and professional courtesies. Display critical thinking and independent decision-making skills. Perform tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing executive packages, and managing correspondence. Maintain office calendars, schedules, and appointments. Work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. Prepare reports, correspondence, and technical documents, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting. Handle routine inquiries and follow up on correspondence. Coordinate travel arrangements and manage office files. Identify process improvements and mentor junior staff. Work Environment and Physical Demands This role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, and other typical office activities.
