Job Duties Tailor Treatment Approaches: Assess individual patient needs and craft specialized therapy plans aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations. Implement Evidence-Based Therapies: Utilize proven techniques to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities. Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Empower Patients and Families: Equip patients and their caregivers with knowledge and techniques to support continued progress at home. Assess and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment strategies as necessary to maintain patient momentum. Education Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Commitment to continuing education and additional certifications is encouraged and supported. Licensure & Certification
Current
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license. NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory. Necessary Skills
