Role Overview Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and customize therapy strategies that help them reach their personal goals Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ tried-and-true practices to enhance physical abilities, mental acuity, and daily living skills Join Forces with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care Educate Patients and Families: Teach care techniques and strategies to patients and their caregivers, supporting ongoing recovery at home Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients' success Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education and post-grad certifications are encouraged and supported Required Certifications
Current active license as an
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) Certification from the
NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required Key Attributes
