Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies that empower them in accomplishing their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, holistic care Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their caregivers by teaching them therapeutic techniques to foster continuous progress at home Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Keep meticulous documentation of clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Commitment to ongoing education and post-graduate certifications highly valued and supported Licensure

license required NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory Skills
