Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

is the frontline face of the organization, responsible for drawing quality blood specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This role emphasizes

trust-building, technical precision , and a commitment to health and safety standards. The PSR demonstrates leadership behaviors, maintains confidentiality, and ensures a smooth and reassuring experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities under the direction of the area supervisor with

accuracy and timeliness Collect forensic and clinical specimens in adherence to safety and procedural guidelines Verify patient identity and labeling accuracy during each encounter Maintain documentation and comply with all recordkeeping requirements Promote a professional and safe environment at all service locations Communicate clearly with patients, peers, and leadership to ensure seamless operations Travel to cover multiple Patient Service Centers or physician office locations as needed Uphold company policies, dress code, and health & safety standards Required Experience:

Three (3) years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Prior customer service experience in a medical, retail, or service setting Nice-to-Have Experience:

In-office phlebotomy support or specimen handling in a mobile setting Prior experience in fast-paced, high-volume collection environments Required Skills:

Excellent phlebotomy technique Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to

patient confidentiality and safety Preferred Skills:

Medical assistant or paramedic training Strong interpersonal communication and patient engagement skills Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if travel required) Additional Skills :

Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call) Strong multitasking in high-volume environments Comfort with computer data entry and patient verification systems Demonstrated organizational commitment and leadership behaviors
