Job Duties Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop personalized therapy approaches to aid them in reaching their functional aspirations. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and engagement in daily activities. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care. Educate Patients and Families: Instruct individuals and their families on therapeutic methods to promote ongoing progress in their home environments. Track and Adjust Therapeutic Outcomes: Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories. Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications
Valid
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
licensure NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required Skills Required
