Your Role in Care Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies designed to help them meet their functional aspirations. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver complete, integrated care. Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers about therapy methods to support progress beyond the clinic. Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatments as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery. Required Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution. Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported. Licenses and Certifications

Current

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

license. NBCOT

(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory. Essential Skills
