Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and create bespoke therapy strategies to assist them in achieving their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday activities Collaborate with Multifaceted Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, holistic care Instruct Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families in therapy methods that encourage progress beyond the clinic Track Progress and Adapt Strategies: Document patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing success Educational Background
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported Licensure
Current and active
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
licensure NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory Desired Skills
